How much does tree removal cost in Apex, NC?
Most residential removals in Apex land between $450 and $2,400. Height, how close the tree is to the house or power lines, and whether a bucket truck can reach the backyard move the number most. Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. Estimates are free and there is no obligation. Send photos or call and we will give you a firm price in writing before any work starts, so nothing changes on you halfway through the job.
Can you quote a job from photos, or do you need to visit?
Most jobs can be priced from photos. Send a shot of the whole tree, one of the base, and one showing what is around it — house, fence, power line, gate width. If access is tight or the tree is unusually large, we will come look before quoting.
Are you licensed and insured?

Do you remove the stump too, or is that separate?
Stump grinding is priced separately because not everyone wants it, but you get a free stump quote with any removal. If you plan to replant or mow over the spot, grinding is worth it — we take it 6–10 inches below grade.
What happens to the wood and brush after the job?
Everything leaves with us unless you want it. Brush gets chipped, trunk wood gets cut to length and hauled. Want firewood rounds stacked or chips left for mulch? Tell us before we start and we will leave exactly that.
How fast can you get out for an emergency or a fallen tree?
Same day for trees on a house, a car, or blocking a driveway. Calling is faster than the form for emergencies. After a big ice or wind storm in the Triangle we triage by danger first, so tell us what the tree is resting on.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree in Wake County?
Trees inside your own yard usually need no permit, but street trees, protected buffers, and trees in some HOA-governed developments do. Check with your town's planning office or your HOA first — we will tell you when we think a tree looks regulated.
